The Sunday Post: Birthday Celebrations

As some of you may or may not know, I turned 21!! I didn’t do anything special for it really but nevertheless I wanted to share with you some of the shenanigans which I will find very memorable.

I received some lovely presents but my main present was a gorgeous Thomas Sabo Charm Bracelet which I plan on writing up a whole separate blog post on that later this month. I was so happy and surprised that I got this because it’s such a beautiful piece to have. You can keep adding memories to the bracelet as well which just makes it more special.

I celebrated my birthday the weekend after my actual birthday as my big sister was travelling up to see is all for the weekend. We went out for a few drinks on the Friday night and had a lovely catch up. On the Saturday night we joined the rest of my family and Phill for a lovely Italian meal. The atmosphere was lovely, we received excellent customer service from the waiters and the food was delicious! My sister made me a delicious white chocolate and raspberry cake with lots of different handbags and shoe icing shapes all over. You can view other cakes which she has made on her Facebook page, Emycakes. A lot of alcohol was consumed before we all walked back home along the beautiful sunset. We just thrown some music on had a good old dance round the kitchen until about two in the morning.

On my actual birthday (last Tuesday) I had a relaxing morning just opening the cards and presents from Phill. I needed to go to college that day but in the evening we met up with my cousin and his girlfriend to watch The Fault in Our Stars which I have been crazy about since finding out about the film. If you haven’t already seen it then why?! The actors are incredible and it was so emotional but brilliant at the same time. All in all, my 21st has definitely been something to remember.
