O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!

The end of November is where everything starts to get extremely festive. Over the past couple of weeks, there has been Christmas markets filling cities and Christmas Light events across the country. This is one of the things added to a list of many about my enjoyment of the festive season. For me, Christmas is about the sparkle and the glitter when it comes to decorations including the lovely tree decoration featured above which I found while waiting at reception at University earlier this week.

Next year, I am hoping to be in my own place again which means I get the excitement of buying Christmas tree decorations including my very own tree. Today I thought I would share with you some of the things I have been really liking on the decoration market this year and hopefully I can refer back to this when I am in my own flat next year. I really like the idea of marking your front door with a wreath. Dunelm Mill has recently opened a store close to where I live. This wreath caught my eye, I really like how traditional it looks with snow effect acorns and winter berries.
When it comes to the Christmas tree, I really can’t decide. I love the smell of a fresh pine Christmas tree however the white articifial ones look really attractive. I really like the Slim White Christmas Tree from Argos. It’s 6ft tall and includes lights and baubles as well. Perfect for anyone on a low budget and looking for a long term option.
Christmas stockings are the cutest thing invented! I still have mine from when I was younger and use it every year. While browsing notonthehighstreet.com, I found these festive personalised stockings which are like a Christmas present in itself. It might be a good idea for a Christmas present for a couple who are expecting a baby or for your partner. I think Tesco’s have the baubles spot on this year. My particular favourites are a pack of 20 silver baubles and a lovely lilac Bambi hanging decoration.
I didn’t expect it to be that long! What’s on your Christmas decoration wishlist?

  • I've never had a white Christmas tree. They're nice but I think I'm more of a traditional green type, also over here hardly anyone buys real trees..
