I saw this on Milk Bubble Tea the other week and thought what better way to get my blog in the Christmas spirit than a Christmas tag! Feel free to copy the questions and answer them too, I would love to know your answers as well.
1. What is your favourite Christmas movie?
There is so many to choose from, The Santa Claus, Prancer, Santa Who?, A Dog Named Christmas but of course my favourite is definitely Elf! If you haven’t watched this, then you need to.
2. Do you open your presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning?
Always on Christmas morning, I just think any presents other than new Christmas pyjamas should be saved till the morning. I don’t really know anyone who opens presents on Christmas Eve. Who else thinks that receiving new snuggly pyjamas on Christmas Eve is the best thing ever?!
3. Do you have a favourite Christmas memory?
I remember one year, spending Christmas Eve in York with the family. We stayed in a hotel and both me and my cousin got the Nintendo’s with Harry Potter and the Philsopher’s Stone game. I was so jealous cause my cousin received the blue one, which is the one I wanted but I received pink and quickly became obsessed.
4. Favourite festive food?
I am not really the one for Christmas dinner, I love having a box of chocolates to share on round Christmas time. Chocolate fingers are the boss!!
5. Favourite Christmas gift?
I can’t remember how old I was, but it was when I received baby Annabell. I used to take her everywhere with me. I remember having all these different outfits for her, a bed which used to be next to mine for her to sleep in and a pram to take her out to the shops and things. I pretended that I was her mum for so long because I wanted to have a baby sister.
6. Favourite Christmas scent?
The smell of Christmas tree or freshly baked cinnamon cookies, yummy!
7. Do you have any Christmas Eve traditions?
I used to put carrot sticks, whiskey and biscuits out for Santa and his reindeer when I was younger but now I just tend to relax with various Christmas films, the fire, endless amounts of hot chocolates and delicious biscuits.
8. What tops your tree?
It’s usually an angel or a star. The angel is one which my Grandma used to use on her Christmas tree so it feels more special, she has her very own wand (to grant some Christmas wishes).
9. As a kid, what was the gift you always wanted but never received?
Every year after writing the famous ‘Dear Santa’ letter, I always added a pair of guinea pigs. I used to come up with names and everything. Twenty one years later I still haven’t had my dream pair of guinea pigs…one day, eh?
10. What’s the best part of Christmas for you?
Spending time with family and friends, giving presents to loved ones, watching the snow fall, getting to wear glitter and sparkle everyday because you can, lovely pictures and generally sharing some happy moments.
