Cruelty Free Advent Calendars 2015

Now that Halloween is well and truly over it’s time to start getting into the festive spirit. I thought I would begin my Christmas posts with advent calendars because, personally, I love the countdown to Christmas. Opening a door each day to a surprising treat is something that I have always loved and got excited about.

First up is Charlotte Tilbury’s The Book Of Makeup Magic (£150) that offers you 12 of Charlotte’s favourite makeup products. The calendar is a mix of mini and full size versions of various different treats, from lipsticks and eyeshadow to creams and masks. It would be a lovely treat if your a Charlotte Tilbury lover like myself.

The Body Shop are like the queen of advent calendars. I actually think this is there fourth or fifth year of doing them. I had mine last year and loved it! I discovered a lot of new favourites including their Eye Definer in Black which I have already brought again twice. The Body Shop’s 24 Happy Days (£60) offers 24 products ranging from the different scents that The Body Shop offer to makeup and tools. It’s a lovely cruelty free treat for someone that is looking for a full 24 day calendar.

There’s nothing better than a classic chocolate advent calendar and being vegan doesn’t deny you of that either. Hotel Chocolat (£12.50) offer an all-dark advent calendar for the countdown to Christmas. The sculptures include reindeers, snowmen, penguins and Christmas trees. And they aren’t the only dairy free advent calendars! Moo Free (£4.99), Holland And Barrett (£3.99) and Sainsbury’s Free From (£2.50) are in on the vegan friendly chocolate countdown too.

Makeup Revolution is a brand that I haven’t yet tried but heard a lot about. This year they have introduced their own Advent Beauty Chest (£85) that features over £100 of Makeup Revolution favourites and is the only advent calendar that countdowns to Christmas Day!

Lastly, my personal favourite, is the Lush Advent Calendar (£49.95). Twelve days of cruelty free Lush products that are all vegan as well. What more could you ask for?!
