It’s that time of year where Lush brings out their Valentine’s Day range and honestly I was slightly disappointed to find out the majority of the products will only be available in the Lush Kitchen however this didn’t stop me heading down to my local store.
Unicorn Horn Bubble Bar was something that came out last year and was extremely popular with many Lush fans. This colourful number is a beautiful blend of lavender oil which relaxes and calms the body and neroli oil which increases serotonin levels in the brain making us feel happy. It smells amazing and looks lovely with the silver lustre lightly sprayed on it. Similar to last year the bubble bar is super moisturising as well as making the bath look like a lovely baby pink shade. Lover Lamp is one of their new products this year. The bath bomb smells exactly the same as Terry’s Chocolate Orange as soon as you place it in the water to start fizzing away. It has been designed to lift your mood with cute mini hearts that burst out whilst it fizzes, and vanilla and Brazilian orange oil to help lift spirits. Lastly on the skincare front is the soap, Roses All The Way, that gentle enriches the skin with a rose oil and syrup lather leaving your skin feeling moisturised and soft as usual. I’ve never really been found of the soaps at Lush but I think I have recently been won over with this one.
The Prince Charming Shower Cream is one of my favourite products from the collection. Last year it was in a shower gel form however this year the formula is much more moisturising and softens the skin due to the cocoa butter. Marshmallow root, grapefruit, pomegranate juice and vanilla pods make the shower cream smell heavenly sweet and extremely uplifting when your feeling down. I’ve used this every morning since buying it and the scent really does put you in such a good mood for the day.
The Kiss Lip Scrub is another product they have brought back this year. The caster sugar, sea salt and cocoa butter will soften the skin as well as leaving a delicious taste on the lips for unexpected kisses. I still have last year’s which is pictured here and have used it regularly throughout the year so it’s definitely worth buying if your a lover of the lip scrubs. The almond and mandarin oil sweetens the lip scrub making it taste just as good as it smells. After using the Lip Scrub, pucker up with The Kiss Lip Gloss infused with shea butter and jojoba oils to create a soft, hydrating lip product that will moisturise the skin. The shine from the lipgloss comes from illipe oil and agave syrup making the product suitable for vegans.
The Oxford Street’s Instagram is packed full of extra exclusive products to the Valentine’s Day range and I’ve heard there is going to be a fair few treats in the Lush Kitchen too.
