Easter’s Lush Kitchen Round Up

Easter Lush Kitchen Round Up

For Easter, Edd kindly treated me to a couple of bits from the Lush Kitchen when they released limited edition products. I thought I could let you know my opinions on them and show off some of the products. You know your boyfriend is a keeper when he knows his stuff, right?!

He treated me to Somewhere Over The Rainbow Bath Bomb, Choccy Egg Bath Bomb and Egg Hunt Soap.

Somewhere Over The Rainbow Bath Bomb

Somewhere Over The Rainbow Bath Bomb

Somewhere Over The Rainbow is the bath bomb that I was the most excited about using. It’s made of Sicilian mandarin and uplifting neroli oils. Not only did it smell amazing and uplifted my mood but the explosion of pastel themed colours were gorgeous. The bath bomb included a range of lustres that glistened in the bath water. The scent lingered in the bathroom the following day which was a lovely surprise. If it’s around next year, I highly recommend you picking one up to give it a go.

Choccy Egg Bath Bomb

Choccy Egg was the one bath bomb that I needed to get my hands on during Easter week at the Lush Kitchen although when it came it was my least favourite, to my surprise. I found the scent very strong and overwhelming at first but once it started fizzing away in the bath it smelt so relaxing and calming. Although it’s not the most interesting of bath bombs to watch, it is packed full of ingredients, such as Cocoa, Aloe Vera Extract and Fair Trade Vanilla, that are all brilliant for softening and moisturising the skin. Aloe Vera is also a cooling agent so if you suffer from dry skin or eczema, it will work a treat. Before they melted, I liked how the shavings of Cocoa floated round the bottom of the bath tub instead of just staying in once place too.

Last but not least is the Egg Hunt Soap. The soap is extremely uplifting and personally, it smells of what Spring should smell like. It has a lovely blend of Bergamot, Sicilian Lemon and Floral Violet Leaf which leaves it smelling of raspberries! This fruity treat is something that has helped me feel awake and ready for the days ahead recently. Similar to all Lush soaps, it lathers up really well and the scent lingers on your body for ages – even my Aunt has said how nice it smells on her hands the day after she used it.

Did you manage to pick up any of the Lush Kitchen items over Easter? What was your favourite product from the Easter range this year? Let me know in the comments.
