Remember when I took part in the #DisneyHalloweenGE back in October?! Well Soph decided to organise a Christmas edition so naturally I jumped at the chance. My gift exchange partner was the lovely Jody who loves anything Disney related. I found out that she had just moved into her own home with her boyfriend so I thought that I need to help them with a couple of bits to make their house feel a bit more homely.
The budget for this gift exchange was £10-£15 which I tried to keep too by asking Jane (Edd’s mum) to help make something again. I headed to Primark first and managed to get a chalkboard in the shape of Mickey’s ears and an Alice In Wonderland glass plaque which I thought she could put up somewhere in her house.
I asked Jane to create a cushion which has turned out brilliantly and as far as I am aware, Jody absolutely loves it. I picked up the Alice In Wonderland tins with loose tea leaves in which I thought she could reuse for spices or to keep bits and bobs in, and some Mint Matchmakers to have with her tea.
I received my lovely present last week from Amy and I am in love with it! She couldn’t have picked anything better. It was all beautifully wrapped in Disney festive paper and a box from the Disney store. As soon as I opened it, I could immediately smell something Snow Fairy scented which came from the Candy Moutain Bubble Bar. The Superdrug body sprays are so affordable and smell so good for anyone wanting to get into cruelty free skincare. I have had Scrumptious before and it smells like toffee apples. I love the Stitch socks as well, they are so cute and adorable. I also got a lovely Mini Moo Organic Santa Bar which I am saving for Christmas morning.
I’d like to say a massive thank you to Amy for some very thoughtful gifts, and to Soph for creating the gift exchange – I really enjoyed being part of it!
Have you taken part in any Christmas gift exchanges this year? I think they are a great way to meet other bloggers with similar interests.
