I’ve been so super busy recently, doing all the adult things that its safe to say I have preferred to spend an extra 10 minutes in bed rather than taking 5 minutes deciding what colours to use in my eyeshadow palettes. The means my makeup has been super quick, especially the time spend doing my eyes which is usually a good half hour…
I don’t like leaving the house with no makeup on at all, I feel so unconfident and shy. I’ve whipped up a 90 second eye look that is guaranteed to make your eyes look a lot more alive within seconds. It’s the steps to turn to when you would prefer to spend those extra minutes sleeping or when you running a little bit late in the mornings. I have been loving the Too Faced Bulletproof Shadow Liner! I picked it up in a TK Maxx sale just before Christmas and it’s so easy to use. I just pop ‘Mink‘ all over the lid of the eye, it’s a beautiful golden/brown shade that would suit most skin tones. I then use ‘Primal‘ from the Urban Decay Basics 2 Palette which gives the eyes a lot more definition. I apply it in the outer crease and blend. It doesn’t take long at all and actually looks as though you have created a smokey eye but really you have just used two shades. If I feel as though my eye needs a little bit something else to brighten it up, I use ‘Skimp‘ in the inner corner and that usually works.
I have to admit – I skip eyeliner about 99% of the time because no one has time for that but when I do, I usually use either the Soap & Glory Supercat Eyeliner or The Body Shop’s Striking Eye Definer in ‘Black‘. I then curl my lashes, if I have time, and coat them with GOSH Lash Sculpting Mascara which is great for adding volume to your lashes.
There you have it; a quick and easy eye look suited for when your running late or needing a little quick fix. Give it a try, I guarantee you will love it and it will only take you 90 seconds.
Have you got any makeup wonders that ensure you can have an extra five minutes in bed? Let me know in the comments.
