Luxury Lovin’

The other week I travelled down to London for a couple of days. Last time I went I didn’t get a chance to go the the ‘headquarters’ of beauty goodness, also known as Selfridges. I have never been so for those of you who have you can probably relate to the excitement upon entering their Beauty Hall. I was surrounded by thousands of shimmering eyeshadows and beautiful shades of lipsticks. Surprisingly I didn’t go over board and came out with three things.

First stop was the Charlotte Tilbury counter. I have heard a lot of talk about the brand and though it was about time I gave some of the products a go. When it comes to trying a new brand, I am drawn to the lipsticks and I just couldn’t walk away from the counter without picking up one of their Matte Revolution Lipsticks in the shade Bond Girl. The shade is a gorgeous everyday colour shade and perfect for spring/summer. I also picked up one of their Colour Chameleon Eyeshadow Pencils in Dark Pearl. I have been wanting to try a eyeshadow stick for so long now and I think it will be perfect for days where I just want something quick to apply and blend out especially on days when I am wanting more sleep. After looking round the various counters and being tempted by many things, my last stop was the Nars counter which I went and spied the Sheer Glow foundation which every blogger and their mothers have. Unfortunately I didn’t pick it up as the counter was so busy and I was getting extremely hungry so hopefully I will be able to now I am back in Newcastle.

And there we have it! A mini round up of what I picked up on my first of many visits to Selfridges, London. I will more than likely be writing up in-depth reviews once I have had a play around with them.

Are you lusting after any luxury products at the moment? Let me know in the comments!

Ooh that is such a lovely colour!! I’m drawn to brightly coloured lipsticks then realise I have no subtle lip colours for more casual days!
