Pet Friendly Blog

Animals are the cutest things ever! If I could sit at home and snuggle in bed with Sunney then I would but unfortunately life gets in the way. I have decided that I am going to completely change my lifestyle because when other people hurt animals they make me angry.

When I started researching into buying a pet for when I moved out, I discovered animal cruelty and in particular Animal Testing. Don’t get me wrong, I knew about some parts of it but not all. This has made me rethink not only the brands I am buying from but food choices. I have tried being a vegan last year and found that I had a lot more energy and felt more healthier. Oh and as an added bonus lost a bit of weight at the same time. However life recently got a bit chaotic and the last thing I was looking at was what I was eating. From now on, every product I use will be cruelty free and anything I eat will be suitable for veggies and vegans! I don’t want to use products that I have been tested on animals like my Sunney.

Although I have recently found a love for Benefit and always lusting over the new MAC collections, I just can’t hand over my money to brands that are willing to test on animals. On the other hand, there are a lot of cruelty free brands ranging from high street like M&S, Lush and Barry M to Too Faced and Urban Decay. Not only do I get to try some brands I haven’t previously looked into but I will be reviewing them all on my blog too so keep your eyes peeled! I have found some great blogs in the process of researching such as Cruelty Free Kitty and mo’adore that provide in-depth brand lists in case any of you are interested in joining me.

Finally, my last point is that my blog is NOT going to change in the slightest. I am just changing some aspects of it. I will not be preaching to you about the difference between right and wrong as essentially it is your decision. The welfare of animals is something which I have grown passionate about especially since looking into getting a pet of my own in the future and I want to just change my lifestyle up a bit for ethical and health reasons.

I would love to hear your thoughts on the topic! Let me know in the comments.

Good for you for making those changes! I love eating meat too much to give up on it, but recently I have been eating less meat and more vegetables. It really does make a difference, even if it’s just a small change. I can’t wait to see more of your cruelty free posts!
