So I have finally finished my first year at University. As some of you may know over the past eight or nine weeks I have really struggled mentally and emotionally which I would rather not talk about. Today I want to inject a bit of positivity in my life because I really enjoy blogging. So what am I going to do with nearly 5 months away from University? Well here is some of the things I have planned…
Blogging – My content lately has been
rubbish crap! All I can do is apologise but like I said I have been lacking in motivation and haven’t really wanted to do anything other than binge watch Pretty Little Liars and Once Upon A Time on Netflix. Since going back after Easter I have really tried to catch up and finish my essays so I have had zero spare time to even take photos let alone write a blog post. This summer I really want to step my blogging game up so I am setting myself Wednesday and Sunday as my blog publishing day goals. If another post appears in your Bloglovin’ feed during the week then so be it!
Adventures and Holidays – Firstly, I am off to London for a week at the end of June so I will be able to head to the new Lush Oxford Street store on my birthday! How exciting is that?! I can’t wait to go and see what London has to offer. It would have been six months since I have last been down but I miss it so much when I am there. Someone asked me why I love it so much and I think it is because even when your in the busiest city in the country you can still find quite spots like Hyde Park to just sit and relaxing. I can’t wait to go to Whole Foods and attend a cruelty free bloggers event while I am there. Of course the main agenda for this holiday though is to totally relax and destress which is exactly what I am going to do. I will also be attending NevFest this year which will be my first vegan festival. No word off a lie but I am slightly nervous about the whole prospect but I would love to meet a couple more vegans or vegetarians in the North East.
Reading – I have never really been a massive reader of books especially since finding out that I am dyslexic but I have seemed to have collected rather a lot including all of the books by John Green and Rainbow Rowell. I’ve decided that I am going to try and read more over the summer. I have set myself a goal to finish two books and take the time out to relax. I am going to start with #GIRLBOSS as I have heard a lot of good things about it. I can just imagine sitting on the beach with a good book and a smoothie, perfect!
Exercise – Last but not least is exercise. I really want to be a smaller size come September. I have never really loved exercising apart from swimming and ice skating but I have recently brought Charlotte Crosby’s 3 Minute Belly Blitz in the hope to lose a few pounds. Since being a vegan, I eat so much fruit and drink so much water (we are talking like 4 litres a day) so I think I need to even this out with exercise. I am not confident enough to go to the gym or run outside yet because I just think people will judge me so if you have any good routines to do indoors then please let me know.
