With so many brands around, it’s quite easy to get lost in which ones test on animals and those that don’t. Let alone the brands that are suitable for vegans. That are many cruelty free alternatives to chose from as long as you are prepared to hunt around for them. I thought I would share with you my Christmas Gift Guide For Her 2015 to help you out a little. Maybe you could include some of these on your wish list too!
I don’t think I could include a Christmas Gift Guide without including a bit of Lush. We all know by now that they are my favourite brand for cruelty free and vegan friendly skincare. I know a lot of people who love Lush and personally I would bit extremely happy to find any of my suggestions under the Christmas tree. There are various gift boxes suitable for a wide range of budgets including Secret Santa(£9.95), Best Wishes(£19.95) and WOW!(£155). They all come beautifully wrapped saving you a hassle during the busy festive season so you can enjoy more family time.
Other skincare treats could include the lovely Liz Earle Orange Flower Body Set(£27) that includes a gorgeous shower gel and body moisturiser. It smells divine and the scent lingers on the body all day. Did you know that The Body Shop have a lot of products that are both cruelty free and vegan too?! This Frosted Plum Tin(£17) includes a shower gel, body butter, sugar scrub and shimmer lotion.
Surprisingly there are a wide range of cruelty free eau de toilette’s to choose from. The Library Of Fragrance have a wide range of scents suitable for anyone. My personal favourite at the moment is Christmas In New York(£15) with blends of sweet rich and festive spices, sweet apples and chestnuts. It smells so luxurious and they don’t test on animals. aren’t just for women. Eden Perfumes are another cruelty free and vegan brand that offer amazing scented perfumes. No.30(£15) is quite similar to the famous YSL Black Opium.
Too Faced has become a recent lust of mine. I know I might be a bit late to the bandwagon but the Chocolate Bar Eye Shadow Palette(£35) looks lovely and would be an amazing stocking filler too. The palette includes 16 matte and shimmer shades of natural browns, pinks and plums. Charlotte Tilbury is another makeup brand that doesn’t test on animals. I have found that they do some lovely lip sets including The Perfect Nude Kiss Kit(£49) that includes a lipstick, liner, sharpener and lacquer.
All girls enjoy some delicious chocolate. It’s a fact of life really! Treat your loved one to Hotel Chocolat’s Dark Chocolate Hamper(£25) that includes a range of vegan friendly chocolate. I have had the Ginger Puddles before and some of the dark chocolate fruit and nut, both of which tastes delicious!
I have mentioned Harper Bizarre Candles(£8) before on my blog. They do a lovely range of scents that I think are much stronger that Yankee Candles. They are made using Soy Wax making the cruelty free and vegan. They scent lingers in any room for ages after it’s burnt out.
Jewellery always leaves us girls feeling rather special. As well as the obvious Thomas Sabo “Glam Chic” Watch(£275) that is on my personal wish list. Trust me some of their pieces are really beautiful; I have managed to hunt down Estella Bartlett that are extremely lovely. I brought the Sausage Dog Necklace(£18) for my sister’s birthday earlier this year and she loves it! There are many pendants to chose from and I think they are really affordable too.
I hope that you have found this useful in some way and that I have made any cruelty free buys a little bit less daunting. Let me know what your suggestions below! We can all help each other.
