Brand Focus: The Dirty Vegans* Review

The Dirty Vegans is a new brand introduced to me by Sophie from Cotton Cloth Eco. She was kind enough to send me a couple of their Christmas treats through a gift swap that I took part in. I thought it would be nice to let you know my thoughts on the products and the brand themselves as they don’t seem to have been noticed in the blogosphere yet.

The Dirty Vegans

The Dirty Vegans are a lovely company ran by two sisters who are 100% against animal testing. All of their products are handmade and contain no harsh ingredients such as SLS and Paraben. This means that every product they stock is suitable for vegans and vegetarians because there are no animal derived ingredients in them. They stock a range of products from bath melts and bath bombs to sugar scrubs and soaps.

I was lucky enough to receive Snowflake Bath Creamer and the Snowman Bath Melt.

The Snowflake Bath Creamer is a mix between a bath bomb and bath melt. Once I put it in the bath, it started fizzing at the bottom of the tub and a peppermint scent started filling the room. The bath melt floated to the top and started melting slowly releasing scents of blueberry and peppermint. It started to turn the bath water a lovely baby blue colour whilst glitter and popping candy started fizzing out of the bath melt. Overall, I loved using the Snowflake Bath Creamer. It was such an unexpected treat as I never expected it to have popping candy or glitter in the creamer.

The Floating Snowman Bath Melt doesn’t show an impressive display however due to the cocoa butter it is an extremely moisturising treat. It left my skin feeling extremely soft and smooth for the rest of the day without the need to apply moisturiser. I like how the Floating Snowman slowly melted making it perfect for a pamper evening treat.

Have you tried The Dirty Vegans before? What’s your thoughts?

The products was sent to me in my Christmas Gift Swap with Sophie from Cotton Cloth Eco.

I’ve never heard of The Dirty Vegan brand before, but their products look lovely. I think I’m going to order my Mum one of their foot scrubs for Mother’s Day (talk about forward planning!).

These are both so cute! I’ve been looking at lots of companies like his recently and making lists for when we move and finally have a bath tub again!
