I can vaguely remember that one of the first makeup products I ever owned were from Sleek. The blushers are still my ultimate favourite to this day.
Sleek have recently brought out many new products, and I have to say I’m impressed with them all. Of course, I had to pick some new bits up to try!
The first product I saw was the Goodnight Sweetheart Eyeshadow Palette. As with all Sleek palettes, you are greeted with 12 beautiful shades that will all look so autumnal when blended together. Unlike any of my other eyeshadow palettes, Goodnight Sweetheart has a range of dusky roses and deep plum shades that come in a mixture of matte, slight shimmer and full on shimmer for those who like a bit of sparkle. I think this palette would be lovely for creating autumnal/winter evening looks. My favourite shades have been Romance, a lovely matte plum shade, and Velvet Wrap, a gorgeous shimmered plum shade. The two work brilliantly when blended together for a smokey eye. It comes with one of those sponge brushes that no one ever really uses but it’s good if your just starting out with makeup.
The next products I spotted on the shelves were the Power Plump Lip Crayons and after seeing Sleek themselves raving about them across social media, I knew I had to pick one or two up to try. I decided to go for Berry Burst which is a lovely dusky pink shade and Notorious Nude which is a beautiful everyday nude. Now let me tell you, I have fell in love with them. In fact, I went a whole week of just wearing Berry Burst because I loved the colour. When swatching them in store, the formula is really creamy and moisturising. The colours were super-pigmented and glided across the back of my hand with ease. However when you get home and start playing with the shades on your lips, they make them tingle and apparently gives the appearance of fuller and more luscious lips.
To tell you the truth, I haven’t really noticed my lips feeling more plump than usually however the formulation on the lips is super moisturising and would be a lovely addition to add to collection now that the weather is a lot colder. It leaves a lovely satin finish on the lips that looks beautiful with a smokey eye. My favourite out of the two is definitely Berry Burst, however Notorious Nude is a lovely nude addition to my collection.
What do you think of the palette and plumping lip crayons? Have you gave them a try? Let me know your thoughts.
