An Autumn/Winter Makeup Look

The last time I wrote about a makeup look was back in February and things have changed slightly since then so I thought it was about time to share with you my Autumn/Winter makeup look. There’s some specifics but also ones that change on a daily basis but these products are the ones that are my firm favourites. The ones that I end up laying on the floor next to my mirror where I do my makeup for the following day.

For foundation I am still using the GOSH X-Ceptional Wear Foundation. I don’t know why but it has just stuck with me for ages now. Do you know when you find something you love and even though you keep meaning to change it up a bit, you still end up repurchasing your favourite? Well for me, it’s this foundation. It’s a similar kind of thing for my concealer too. I am still using the good old Makeup Revolution Focus & Fix Concealer because it does a great job of hiding my dark circles and blemishes. Of course, I am open to any suggestions from you guys but I have been in love with this combination for so long that I just haven’t got round to mixing it up in case the new products don’t work as well.

I’ve been using the Beautiful Movements Cosmetics Bronzer because I love the warm hues and how easy it is to blend and then I follow it on with the GOSH BB Powder as the bronzer is so pigmented. On my cheeks, I have been using the Sleek Flushed Blush which I have since re-purchased because it was getting pretty old. I’ve only recently got into highlighting but I’ve fell in love with Makeup Revolution Soph Highlighter Palette. There are shades in that palette for whatever kind of look you are going for but my favourites have been the pink and lilac in the bottom left hand corner. You’ll know which ones I mean.

Surprisingly, I haven’t been that experimental with eyeshadow lately. It’s probably because I have decreased my palette collection and found some old favourites. The one combination that I have been wearing quite a lot are the Colour Pop Eyeshadows that I picked up at the end of last year. I have been blending together CrenshawWilshire and Sunset Blvd which have created a lovely neutral look. I line my eyes with the Soap and Glory Supercat Black Eyeliner because it’s so quick and easy and then follow with Barry M ShowGirl Volumising Mascara. When I first purchased this mascara I wasn’t so sure but now I have given it a bit of a chance I can understand why people like it.

I switch up my lipstick quite regularly but there is one that I have really been loving and that is The Body Shop Liquid Matte Lipstick in Tahiti Hibiscus. I just can’t get enough of the stuff!

Me too, it’s just such a shame about the custom charge. Always on the look out for free international shipping :) xx

Oooh I love this look! A palette I’ve been absolutely loving this season is the Morphe 25B Bronzed Mocha palette – it’s just 25 shades of pure autumn. I’ve also been digging my Soap and Glory Supercat liner. It’s my holy grail!
