I’ve been so busy with moving, starting at a new store, organising two rooms and trying to not stress and take it easy a little bit that blogging hasn’t been at the fore front of my mind. Although today I do have something a little different for you which has really helped me out when I’ve got no content planned for the foreseeable future. The lovely Olivia kindly nominated me to do the Sunshine Blogger Award tag. Not only are tags brilliant for when your feeling a little uninspired or when you’ve got not content planned (like me) but they also mean you discover new blogs – be sure to check out everyone linked at the end!
Sunshine Blogger Award Rules:
So let’s get on with the questions…
Which blogger(s) inspires you?
I’ve got a long list of bloggers that inspire me for many different reasons, to name a few: Chloe for how well she has managed to push her blog out there to brands quite quickly, Gemma and Kate for blog photography, Chloe, Amy and Alice for their fashion/style and body confidence posts.
Why did you first get into blogging?
I was first introduced to blogging when I came across the oh-so-famous Zoella’s blog in my first year of A Levels. I had no friends at all and no hobbies then I was introduced into the world of YouTube and the blogging community and everything felt good again after struggling with two years of depression and anxiety. It came a place where I could ramble on about things that I loved and wanted to open up about. I kept it extremely private for a lot of years until I created this little corner of the internet where I really worked hard at it.
Which is your most favourite blog post that you’ve written and why?
It’s a toss between The Prince’s Trust Awards because it was such a special and surreal night that I will always remember and My Thoughts On Adulting because it was a post that I written in a completely different way that I loved writing.
Where do you find inspiration for blog posts?
Magazines and other bloggers are my main source of inspiration but most recently friends and family have been helping me come up with ideas for blog posts. I think the media and internet is a great source if your stuck for ideas too.
How do you see your blog developing in the future?
I just want to continue enjoying blogging for what it is. Don’t get me wrong I do have my goals for blogging and growth with a few brands that I would love to work with but I just want to continue writing about aspects of my life and what I enjoy the most.
What is your favourite takeaway order?
Chinese! You can’t beat a good old Chinese takeaway. Egg fried rice and sweet and sour tofu is just heaven sent from the gods.
If it was ethically and morally possible to have any animal in the world as your pet, what would you have?
In all honesty, I would love to be able to have a Giant Panda as a pet but then I wouldn’t change Millie and Charlie for the world.
What is your favourite thing about yourself?
I think my favourite thing about myself is how much of a strong person I really am. I’ve been through so many things during my teenage life that I’ve realised recently not everyone my age has been through and the fact that I’ve came out the other side a much stronger and better person counts for something.
Which TV character do you relate to?
In all honesty, Chloe from Geordie Shore because the things that she comes out with across social media and within the programme is similar to the things that I would question/say too. I could also relate to Eleanor from The Good Place because she stands up for what she believes in and is such a strong person.
What is one goal that you would like to complete this year?
I would love to be able to just go on holiday abroad somewhere. I’ve not been on a proper holiday since I was turning 19 which is nearly six years ago now. I’ve got Amsterdam on my wishlist as well as Disneyland Paris and somewhere quite hot for a week. Realistically, I would love to be able to learn how to drive by the end of this year too.
Tell me three random facts about yourself!
I’ve won a Prince’s Trust Award for the North East, I’m such an indecisive person but then at times I really know what I want from life and Quorn Chicken Nuggets taste amazing!
My nominations and questions:
I’m sorry if any of you lovely bloggers have already been tagged or have completed this tag. I’ve never heard of it before or seen it across other blogs. I’ve got a couple of blogging questions and advice questions for you including one Olivia left me because #positivity, and they are:
